The Scene Adapt Engine (SAE) is a next-generation image processing system designed to enhance visual quality through intelligent, real-time frame analysis. Trained on over 50,000 hours of raw movie data, SAE leverages machine learning to understand and predict how scenes evolve, frame by frame.
By combining precise frame-by-frame analysis with predictive algorithms, SAE delivers fast, adaptive image adjustments with minimal visual artifacts. It responds instantly to scene changes, ensuring smooth transitions and consistently optimized picture quality.
SAE is especially effective in dark scenes, applying advanced gamma correction to preserve shadow detail and depth without sacrificing contrast. Its predictive frame generation significantly reduces motion blur and artifacts, resulting in a clearer, more stable viewing experience.
Key Features:
Yes, the Nova Mini’s compact size makes it exceptionally portable. With a brightness of 1200 lumens, it delivers clearer and more vivid images than many other projectors, even outdoors. Additionally, it supports the PD 3.0 protocol, enabling it to be powered by a power bank*. This means you can enjoy the big-screen experience anytime, anywhere.
*When using a power bank to charge the projector,
you must use a USB-C cable that supports Power Delivery (PD).
The power bank must output at least 20V/5A (100W) for optimal performance.
This PIN is required as part of Google TV’s content protection and parental control policies in these regions.
*Applicable countries: Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Ireland
When setting up your Google TV projector for the first time in one of the countries listed above, you will be asked to create a PIN code during the initial setup process.
If you choose to skip setting a custom PIN, the system will automatically use the default PIN code: 1234.
Please remember the PIN you set (or the default PIN), as it will be required when performing a factory reset or making certain security-related changes.
Yes, it includes Autofocus, Auto Keystone Correction, Auto Screen Detection, Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance, Adaptive Brightness, and Intelligent Eye Protection. You can also enable advanced auto settings for autofocus and keystone correction upon startup or after moving the projector.
Yes, the Nova Mini is compatible with most projector stands on the market. You can easily find a suitable stand with the following specifications:
You can use a regular PVC screen, or for a better experience you can use a Fresnel ALR screen designed for long throw projectors.
Yes, the Nova Mini is designed with a standard 1/4" - 20UNC x 1/4" tripod thread on the bottom of the projector. This enables you to hang it from the ceiling using a specialized mounting bracket (not included).
1. Choose the installation position: Select a location on the ceiling that aligns with your screen/wall and allows for the correct projection distance as specified in the Nova Mini's manual.
2. Choose the right ceiling mount: To mount the Nova Mini on the ceiling, you will need to buy a ceiling mount with a standard 1/4" - 20UNC x 1/4" tripod thread. Also make sure your ceiling mount can hold the weight of your projector. This is critical for safety, as an improperly mounted projector can become a hazard.
3. Select a mounting location: Find a place on the ceiling to mount your projector. Make sure that it’s the correct distance from your screen or wall for the projection size that you want, as specified in the Nova Mini manual.
4. Install the ceiling mount and projector: Attach the ceiling mount to the ceiling using appropriate hardware. Then secure the projector to the mount, double-checking that it's firmly in place.
5. Adjust the projection: Power on the projector and adjust it as needed to properly align the image on your screen. Then, go to Settings > All Settings > Projector > Projection Type to flip the projection to the correct orientation.
Yes, you can adjust the image size using the digital zoom function.
Go to Settings > Display > Keystone Correction > Adjust Size and Position. Use the Left and Right Arrow buttons to adjust the Zoom, which will make the projected image smaller. Once you’ve adjusted Zoom, you can adjust the Position of the screen as needed.
To play a 3D movie on your projector, you will need to connect an external HDMI device that can play 3D movies.
1. Press the Source button on the remote control and select the HDMI input source you wish to use to watch a 3D movie.
2. Then, go to Settings > Picture > Advanced Settings > 3D Settings > 3D Format and select one of the available 3D formats.
Note:
Point the remote control towards the IR sensor on the back of the projector. The angle of the remote control should not exceed 30 degrees and the distance between the remote control and the sensor(s) should not exceed 26 feet (~ 8 meters).
Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Remote & Accessories. Please hold the remote within 7.87 inches of the projector. Point it towards the projector and press and hold the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds to put the remote control into pairing mode. lf the pairing is successful, the screen will display a message that the Bluetooth remote control has been paired.
Note:
To connect a soundbar or speaker, use one of the methods below.
Option 1: HDMI ARC (Recommended)
If your soundbar or speaker is compatible with HDMI ARC, connect your soundbar or speaker to the HDMI 1 port on the Nova Mini using an HDMI cable. Make sure to go to Settings > All settings > Display & Sound > Audio Output > Digital Output > Bypass to enable ARC on your projector. Also enable ARC on your soundbar or speaker as needed. With this setting enabled, audio is sent directly from the projector to the soundbar via HDMl with enhanced capabilities.
Option 2: Bluetooth
Enable Bluetooth on your soundbar or speaker. Then on the Nova Mini, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Pair Accessories, then select your soundbar or speaker from the list of available devices.
